Motion Capture
I have experience with each step involved in recording and using mocap data for animations. I have both acted and overseen recording mocap files for a player character's animations in a game, and I have taken these files and put them onto a character rig and then cleaned up the animation before rendering it to be used in the demo reel seen below.
Mocap Acting and Animation
For this demo reel, I was the mocap actor to record these animations. I then took the files and attached them to rigs in Maya, fixed errors, and then rendered the various clips to make a reel of various animations for a knight character wielding a sword in a game.
Recording Mocap
I oversaw and directed the mocap animations for Aiden Pearson's Efficien't. I used Xsens motion capture hardware and software to record over 50 mocap files for the player character's animations in the game.
